I’m not a huge fan of Lingo. However, there are some ‘technical terms’ that can really help when it comes to meeting women. Therefore I have created the 101 pieces of Lingo you need to know, to help your understanding and skills when it comes to approach, attracting and ultimately getting women.

3 Second Rule – This is where you must approach a girl within 3 seconds of meeting her.

Abundance Mentality – Having the mentality that there is an endless supply of women out there. No need to worry about messing it up with one girl cos’ another is just around the corner.

Alpha – Being alpha means being the top dog. Just like in the animal kingdom. Makes you more attractive to women. You wanna be alpha.

Alpha Male Of Group (AMOG) – The top male in a group. You want to show the woman that you are the guy to be with. It also removes the threat of any male in the group trying to get the girl. This is the guy you wanna be.

Approach Anxiety (AA) – The fear of doing a cold approach. You fear approaching the woman or women and being rejected or making an arse of yourself. We have all been there.

Attraction – This is about the attraction a woman has for you. Whether they believe you will be a good partner to be with.

Average Frustrated Chump (AFC) – Someone who is not sure what makes women attracted to a man.

Banter – Communicating with a women in a fun, witty and playful manner. Can be very effective indeed.

Bitch Shield (BS) - This is to do with a women being prepared to weed out the losers. You need to break that shield down…

Blow Out – All about get turned down when you approach and talk to a girl. This happens to everyone so don’t sweat it.

Body Language (BL) – What you communicate to girls with your body only. This is all about non-verbal communication. Get this sorted.

Bounce – Taking a girl or group you have just met from one location to another.

Calibration – The ability to look at a certain situation and be able to make the correct decision at the correct time. So when picking up women you can judge the next course of action required to be successful.

Canned Opener – A memorised opener that a PUA has practiced and uses to open women. Can be a good idea to have a couple up your sleaves just in case ;-)

Canned Routine – Memorsied routines a PUA can use to pick up women. This way you can focus more on delivery rather than thinking what to say.

Charisma – Personal magnetism or charm that a person poses. A bit of charm never goes a miss with the ladies.

Close – This is closing an interaction. Maybe with phone number, kiss, sex or other sexual act. BOOM that’s how it’s done.

Cockblock (CB) – A person or group of person’s who attempt to stop your progress with the woman you are trying to get. Very annoying especially when the woman you are talking to is very interested in you.

Cocky Funny (C&F) – The ability to be cocky but have it come across as funny. Made famous by David Deangelo.

Cold Approach – Approaching a woman or group, either in the day or night, who you have never met or spoken to before.

Comfort – The ability to make a woman feel comfortable around you after you have built attraction. A must to get a decent close and made famous by Mystery.

Comfort Zone – This is the boundaries in which you feel comfortable to perform in on a regular basis. You might wanna protect yourself or because it has become routine. You need to extend your comfort zone to be successful in life.

Compliment Opener – Opening a girl with a compliment. Such as “That’s a nice dress, where did you get it from?”

Congruence – The way you act on the outside matching the way you feel on the inside. Sometimes you don’t always act on the outisde like you act on the inside.

Core Value – The inner values of a person’s beliefs and life views.

Dance Game – Learning to meet and attract women on the dance floor. Great for clubs.

Day Game – Going out in the daytime and meeting and attracting women. Could be in the street, cafe, pub, etc.

Demonstration of Higher Value (DHV) – Where you demonstrate to a woman that you are of high value. Meaning you provide value to others. This could be through story telling, showing a skill, teaching them something, etc.

Direct Game – A type of game where the PUA shows interest in the target from the start. Not trying to hide any intentions he has unlike indirect game.

Direct Opener – Being direct in your approach. Cutting to the chase so to speak. An example maybe “Hey, seen you from over there and thought you looked interesting so I thought I would say hi”

Dick Crack – Pick up related gossip that has no real interest in helping you improve with women. ‘OK’ for the pick up world :-)

Double Your Dating (DYD) – One of the pioneers in the PUA world David Deangelo’s product. Designed to help men with their interactions with women. This guy really is the mack daddy of PUA Gurus.

Eject – This is when you leave a set. Whether that’s because you feel like the interaction is going nowhere or because you have gotten a close and feel it’s the right time to leave.

Eye Contact (EC) – Using your eyes to create attraction in women. Good strong eye contact shows that you are confident and not afraid to be in an interaction with a woman.

False Time Constraint (FTC) – Making a girl feel at ease by making her think you won’t be talking with her for very long. Example “Hey, quick question…”

Field – Going out into the real world to meet and attract women. This is a MUST!!!

Field Report (FR) – Normally a written report that someone writes describing an interaction they have had in the real world.

Flake – You got a girls number and set up a second meeting with her but she doesn’t turn up. You’ve been totally flaked out on.

Frame Control – Controling the interaction you are in. You take the interaction in the direction you want it to go.

Friend Zone (FZ) – Getting on well with a girl but she only sees you as a friend and not a potential sexual partner. This is why building attraction is so very important.

Fuck Close (FClose) – Literally getting to fuck the girl you have been interacting with on the same day/night.

Game – Describes the act of learning to go out and going out to meet and pick up women.

High Value (HV) – Whether or not as a man you posses high status or social value to others. Being high value is very attractive.

Hot Babe (HB) – This is a hot woman. Nuff said :-)

Improvisational Opener – An opener that has been thought of on the spot. It has not been pre rehearsed and is more natural.

Indicator of Interest (IOI) – A sign that a girl is interested in you. Being able to spot these allows you to know when a girl wants you to take things further.

Indirect Game – A more subtle approach to meeting women. Doesn’t convey any real interest in the target from the start. Interest by the PUA is only shown when she proves her value to him.

Indirect opener – An opener that doesn’t show the true intent of the PUA. Opinion openers are good examples of these.

Inner Game – All about personal development, inner beliefs, core values, and life goals. This literally is all in your head :-)

Kinesthetics (Kino) – This is about how you touch a woman during an interaction. This is the physical energy during an interaction that can help a girl remember the interaction better and can also be used to show sexual interest.

Kino Escalation – Is the progressive physical escalation between you and a girl. Physical escalation starts with an the intial touch maybe on the shoulder and can ultimately lead to sex.

Kiss Close (KClose) – Closing a girl by getting a kiss off her.

Lair / Seduction Lairs – Places where PUA’s can meet up with other PUA’s and discuss things about meeting women. Also can be used to find others who are into pick up so that you can go sarging together.

Last Minute Resistance (LMR) – This is any resistance a girl shows at the last minute as you are preparing to have sex.

Lay Report (LR) – A report that is written by a PUA to describe how he got laid.

Limiting Belief – Thought process that stops you from progressing cos you feel that you are incapable of doing said task. Normally there is no evidence to back up your claim that you can’t do it.

Logistics – Factors that may affect the progress of an interaction in a negative fashion. Such as, where to take a girl to sleep with her or how to get from one place to another so that the interaction can continue.

Low Self Esteem (LSE) – Someone who doesn’t think much of themselves. Usually due to poor confidence.

Mystery Method (MM) – Probably the most well known PUA method out there. It’s completely based on using set routines in order to build attraction and comfort in women.

Natural – A guy who is naturally good with women. Probably been bought up around guys who are well versed in wooing the opposite sex.

Natural Game – Based more on principles than structured game. Less routines, more improved and free flowing game that allows one to show their true self to shine through more.

Neg Hit/Negging (Negs) – Used mostly on hot women. This is a backhand compliment used to bring them down a peg or 2. Example, “That’s so cute, your nose wiggles when you talk”.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) - A philosophy and method that promotes personal development. By changing our perception of the world and our behaviour patterns in a positive manner.

Nice Guy – Somebody who is too nice for their own good. You are seen generally as a good friend rather than a potential sexual partner.

Night Game – Going out at night to meet women. Generally in bars and clubs.

Non-Verbal Communication – Any communication between you and the girl that is not said in words. Body language is a huge part of this as well as the way the girl moves. If a girl keeps playing with her hair then it’s on like Donkey Kong.

Number Close (#close) – Closing an interaction by getting a girl’s phone number.

One Night Stand (ONS) – Sleeping with a girl and never interacting with her again after.

Oneitis – When you are fixated on one girl. You get caught up in your own little world and believe that this one girl is perfect. Very rarely the case. Plenty of women out there.

Open – To begin a conversation with a woman or a group which your target is currently in.

Opinion Opener – Asking a girl for her opninion on a particular subject. Such as “My mates girlfriend slept with a girl, should I tell him”

Outer Game – This is based purely on techniques out in the real world. Using these techniques to meet and attract women that has nothing to do with your inner mindset.

Peacocking – Dressing in such a manner as to try and attract attention by your outfit alone. Based on the peacock and it’s amazing tail that attracts female attention on it’s own.

Perceived Value – The value that others believe you to have. Doesn’t actually mean it’s true value.

Phone Game – The ability to use the phone effectively to help keep an interaction flowing smoothly. Such as being able to use it to organise the next meet up.

Pick Up (PU) – Describes what a PUA does. He picks up women in order to have sex with them or get a girlfriend.

Pick Up Artist (PUA) – Someone who is trained in the art of meeting and attracting women.

Pick Up Guru (PUG) – Normally a PUA who has become very skillful and knowledgeable in the art of pick up that they teach others how to meet and attract women like they do.

Player – Someone who tends to sleep with many women but wants no long term relationship.
Playing the field is what it’s all about.

Push-Pull – You pull the girl into the interaction and things are going well. Then you push her away like you don’t really wanna talk to her anymore. Then you pull her back in again. All done in a light manner friendly manner.

Rapport – Building a connection with a girl. Normally down to finding similarities using wide and deep rapport.

Reframe – Is where you take something and see it in a different light. Taking something that could be seen as negative and turn it around to look at it in a more positive fashion.

Routine – Is using memorised openers, patterns, gambits and other actions that a PUA can follow during an interaction with a woman.

Sarge – To go out into the real world and attempt to meet and attract women.

Second Meeting – The second meeting between you and a girl.

Seduction Community – This is also known as the “pickup community” or “the community”. The actual use of the term is referring to the community of men working to improve their skills with meeting, attracting and dating women.

Sexual Confidence – Your confidence when it comes to having sex with a girl. Being more confident in bed is important because it helps remove the fear of success.

Shit Test – Where a woman tests a man in order to determine their social status. Whether conscious or not a girl does this to see if you are a worthy male to talk to and maybe have sex with.

Single/Same Night Lay (SNL) – Having sex with a girl on the same night you meet her but not having any further interactions with her once you have slept together.

Situational Opener – An opener that is to do with a situation occuring as the interaction begins. “Hey did you just see that sea gull steal that guys chip straight out of his hand”

Social Circle – The people you hang around with. They can be PUA’s or not, doesn’t really matter. More of a social concept rather than PUA specific.

Social Proof – The value you get from being in a group with other people. It can help to give you high value without the need to actually doing anything in particular.

Social Value – The value you have by being the alpha

Speed Seduction (SS) – Ross Jefferies own seduction techniques that use hypnosis and NLP to meet and attract women. Also used to improve a guys inner game.

State Control – All about being able to control ones own state or the state of the target.

Sticking Point (SP) – One particular stage or aspect in a PUA’s game that is a real challenge to get through.

Target – The woman that you are going to approach. Does not matter where you are.

Text Game – Being able to use texts effectively to help you progress an interaction with a girl.

Wingman – This is a fellow PUA who helps you to meet and attract women. He may, for example, remove any obstacles in your path. Such as a friend of the girl you are talking to who may try and cock block you.

Wingwoman – Very similar to the wingman but it’s a woman who is helping you instead. Having a
can help give you instant value because you are already with a girl.
