Obviously Neil didn’t crash and burn. Yes he did quite well handling himself.

I would have loved to see him go head-to-head with the black girl, and unleash some Rick H on her ass, hehe.

Cool video, but I wouldn't consider it a crash and burn. Neil actually did quite well, especially considering the circumstances. There aren't a whole of men in this world that could have maintained the degree of composure that he did on a TV show watched by millions, with four hostesses who are suspicious about PUAs. He was able to keep his composure even when the girls threw some barbs at him (there was some ignoring there too) and he was able to win them over by being self deprecating and reframing the PUA community in a positive light. Even though Neil didn't dominate the conversation, he probably had the strongest frame of the group. Bravo. Casual’s last blog post..Evolutionary Biology?

Fair points. The girl was blatantly playing it up, it is her show after all.

And yes Neil was being nice because he wanted to promote his book.

Personally, a girl telling me, “Do this, do that…” she’s gonna get taken down a peg, irrespective of the situation.

And I wouldn’t give a shit cos I don’t got no book to sell :-)

Nice post but I’m not sure about the context here. Strauss was obviously there to promote himself and his book…would trying to control the frame in this situation have helped his objective of getting his name in the public domain. I think he handled himself okay by not reacting to any ‘shit tests’. In the end, it seemed to me, that they secumbed to his charm. To be honest I’d be surprised if Strauss tolerated the black chick’s attitude…altho’ I’m wondering if her attitude was just for effect as she’s on TV, and just needed to help spice up the conversation.
A good example of controling the frame is a mystery youtube vid that shows how Mystery finally got some woman to finaly submit to his charm.
