Nicknames are the hallmark of flirting. If you can call a girl a comedy name that is also accurate, she’s go weak at the knees for you. Especially if she’s really attractive and you’ve got the balls to do what other men wouldn’t dare.

Here’s my top 5…

5. Missy

This is a good generic name to call any woman. If she’s being a little bit on the fiery side. Missy is a great, affectionate yet flirtatious name you can use on pretty much any girl, young or old.

4. Cheeky

Cheeky is another nickname, similar to missy. If she’s giving you a bit of ‘attitude’, just smirk and called her on it, “Cheeky.” You can look at her in mock disapproval for added effect.

3. Feisty

If she starts really getting her arse-out (that’s british for getting bitchy), then crack out the fiesty card. Stay ice cool, smile a bit and say something along the lines of, “Fiesty girls like you are the best.” This will build a huge amount of tension between you. She’ll get even more annoyed that she isn’t having any effect on you. The crucial thing is to not cave or give in. Relentlessly continue to call her on it and not be affected.

2. Misery-guts

If a girl is being a bit miserable, just call her on it in a playful way. This lets her know subtly that she is bringing the whole mood down, and also displays courage, in that you’ve had the balls to mention something that most other guys would just let her get away with.

It’s useful to think of yourself as the ‘bad girl behaviour police’. Any time she breaks any social etiquette, call her on it. You will gain her respect, even her admiration.

1. Smarty-pants

By far my favourite nickname. If a girl thinks she’s getting one up on you, call her a smarty pants. This is subtly ribbing her, saying in effect ‘don’t get above your station’. It brings her down a peg or two, all in a loving, flirtatious way of course. This works even better if she’s smarter than you (so I’m told – I’ve never met a girl smarter than me yet – yeah right ;-)

Final thoughts

So that’s the top 5 nicknames you can use on pretty much any women you encounter.

Keep in mind, specific nicknames are better (for example, you could call a girl ‘muscles’ if she is a bit of a gym freak), but the five above make great fail-safes, either early on when you don’t know enough about a girl to create a unique one, or if you need something on the spot and your mind draws a blank.

Look guys, a lot of dating advice and pick up advice can work amazing. However, it is designed for 21 and up bars/clubs.

So where does this leave a college guy, especially if he’s under 21. In college a HUGE majority of partying and hooking up goes on at parties where normal pick up techniques simply do not work as well and the strategy has to be changed up a bit.

This doesn’t mean its hard though.

At a party, there is no true cold approach. A party, for the most part (depending on the size) is a tight to loose social circle coming together.

What does this mean to you though?

This mean that it’s not so much how you interact with a girl off the bat, it’s how you interact with everyone else at the party. You can drastically improve your chance with a girl before you even hit on her and sometimes you can even get her to hit on you if your the life of the party. I want you to think about the parties you have been to and then apply this to pick up. Lets take a look at two types of people at the party.

Person 1 is that guy that you always notice at the party. He might not be doing nothing special, but if he were to leave the party people would notice. This is even more prevalent at smaller parties of 10-50 people. This person is for lack of better terms “the life of the party”. Girls are at the party to have fun, this guy is a huge source of fun. Therefore he could simply walk up to any girl, say hello and they would be VERY receptive to talking to him. No game needed.

Person 2 is the person who is sucking fun off the party, not making it. Think of the group of people that are drinking and not really talking to people. They will also commonly hang around or be near Person 1 to try and get in on the fun. This guy could have the pick up skills of a master, but when he approaches girls they will not open up very easily because he hasn’t demonstrated what’s attractive to them at that moment (fun). He’s going to be fighting an up hill battle.

So obviously to make life very easy for yourself, it’s not about having crazy skills with women, its about being able to be a source of fun. This needs to be your goal.

After that, there’s one thing that I will constantly use to put me at an even better sexual advantage. This is having a reputation with everyone there and having a flirty vibe with every girl at the party. This doesn’t mean you have to know everyone prior to the party. I am often a relative stranger when I show up.

This means introducing yourself to everyone and when you talk to girls working in some teasing/flirting. This is going to do two things for you.

- Its going to make you a social connection. Your going to have a ton of power since you will become like an ambassador of the party. People will want to talk to you because they are there to socialize and you are their lifeline.

- Take what I just said and then apply the fact that you have a semi flirty vibe with every girl there. It’s probably only a matter of time before one of these girls comes on to you. This is how you hear about ‘frat guys’ getting so much action in college. They are a huge connection at a party and therefore have a ton of value. Take comfort knowing most of the guys get out of college and then have trouble with something as simple as finding a girlfriend because they’ve been playing on easy mode for four years.

An essential part of how to flirt with a girl at a party is controlling the party environment so that she WANTS you to flirt with her. This is huge part of being a college flirt.

What I’m about to teach you will challenge your manhood.

But it will also dramatically increase your ability to enter a woman’s “inner circle” of trust very rapidly… which will set you apart from your competition and make it a “no brainer” to go on a date with you.

But it comes with one caveat: if you aren’t getting phone numbers, this article won’t be that useful because it’s all about what to do AFTER you get her number.

It’s all about Step 2… your text game.

… and the 2 strategies you need to implement right now to better maintain and grow her comfort with and attraction in you — which happen to be the 2 things she needs to feel to say “yes” when you ask her out.

But first, let’s get clear on the big question:

Why Is Your Text Game Important?

If you’re already aware of the importance of text game, skip to the next section.

If not, here’s the deal: in 2008, U.S. mobile subscribers sent and received text messages more often than they made mobile phone calls. According to Nielsen Mobile figures, a typical U.S. mobile subscriber sends and receives 357 text messages per month, compared to placing and receiving 204 phone calls.

This is just in the United States alone.

In fact, an estimated one billion text messages are being sent every day around the world! What does this mean for you?

It means that as people continue to rely more and more on text messaging as the central from of communication, it is imperative that you master this skill.

Why?

Because at least half of these people are women, and texting has become their preferred method of communication. If you don’t understand how to properly interact (flirt, build attraction, set up dates, etc) with a woman via text, you’re going to be left behind, allowing some other guy to win her over.

So we know texting is critical to winning women over.

Now let me show you 2 ways to improve your ability to do so.

1. Emoticons

I know. The thought of appending a smiley to the end of a text makes me sick, too. Get over it.

Here’s why: 93% of your in-person communication is done through non-verbal cues such as body language, vocal tonality, facial expressions, etc.

You may have heard, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.” And that is completely true. You can say virtually anything to a woman, and as long as you got a big ass smile plastered on your face, she’s going to know you’re joking around and having fun.

It’s the verbal and visual cues that tell her that.

Example: Imagine telling a girl, “You’re a lot of trouble.”

You say that with a huge smile and it means one thing… say it deadpanned with a straight face and it means something entirely different.

Now here’s the thing: she can’t get these cues via your text messages. All she gets is the words.

As such, it is critical to use emoticons, acronyms and initialisms (words that describe bodily reactions i.e. ‘lol’, ‘haha’) to create the mood and emotion you’re intending to communicate.

Over here at the Art of Charm, we and our students always end statements with

• Haha…lol, or
• :) LMAO!

Another funny way to set yourself apart (especially now that emoticons are so popular) is to spell them out in parenthesis instead i.e. :) becomes (smiley face).

You can use any variation of these. They let a girl know when you’re being playful, in a good mood, sympathizing, and are intending to be funny. They can even lessen the sting of an otherwise overly cocky statement.

Here’s an example that could be taken the wrong way without emoticons:

“I could never hang out with you. you’re just trouble.”

That comes across as cold and wouldn’t make sense in a conversation. You want to ensure your messages are read as you intend them to come across.

Here’s how it would read with emoticons added:

“I could never hang out with a girl like you… haha :) you’re just trouble aren’t you!!? lol“

Feel the difference? Women will read your texts through a filter of whatever mood they are in at that moment (this mood thing is huge–remember it).

You don’t want to give her that chance to misinterpret a text you meant to be fun and playful as rude or mean just because she’s in a sour mood. You need to use these mood indicators a lot. You simply cannot text effectively without them.

Note: Girls typically use emoticons and shorthand texts, so pay attention to how they’re using them. This is a perfect resource for expanding your vocabulary of shorthand texts and emoticons.

Now let’s move on to your next magic power:

2. The Power of Nicknames

One of the key principles throughout any new interaction with a woman is to create comfort, trust, and a genuine connection.

Nicknames are one of the most powerful texting tools available for setting yourself apart, keeping attraction strong, building comfort and putting a smile on her face. Use them!

Through the use of a fun nickname, you begin to create a very playful vibe surrounding the interaction. Here are just a few of the effects you create by using nicknames:

• They make her smile… and when she’s doing that, it’s much easier to build a solid connection with her.
• They create an accelerated sense of intimacy. Nicknames are usually reserved for two people who know each other quite well, typically as a term of endearment created from shared experiences. By using nicknames early on you begin to subconsciously create feelings of comfort.
• They demonstrate that you’re comfortable. When you’re comfortable, she is more likely to be as well. A person who creates nicknames for others is usually the one directing the interaction and the one who is most comfortable. It establishes a teasing and playful frame.
• They create a little conspiracy. When you create a nickname for a girl it becomes an inside joke between the two of you, which is a powerful bonding experience.

Now that you can see why nicknames are so useful, let’s get into how to use nicknames effectively.

How to Use Nicknames

Nicknames are great virtually anytime you’re interacting with a woman. All you gotta do is drop it in the beginning or end of your message…

• “hey crackerpants! Just what kinda trouble are you getting into today!?”
• “hello my little midget ninja!”

Because these aren’t like the typical texts she gets from guys, she’ll most likely be caught off guard… and it’ll make her laugh and respond in a much more playful way (associating you with a fun time throughout the interaction).

Anytime you’re playfully texting back and forth is the perfect time to throw in a nickname. The only times you should avoid them are when you’re in the middle of sharing meaningful information with each other or building a deep sexual state.

They don’t have to be complicated or sophisticated, so it’s very easy to make up your own on the fly.

Picking the Right Nickname

Both your comfort level with a girl and the type of conversation you’re having (through text) determine what type of nickname to use. Here is a list of some nicknames we’ve used so that you can see what we are talking about:

The only rule is that it must be fun, playful, and calibrated to your individual interaction with each girl.

Some girls can handle very sexually suggestive nicknames and laugh with you about it while others have trouble laughing about something as simple as “sugar buns.”

Just look back on your previous interactions and you will know what is appropriate. And then watch for when a girl begins to start calling you nicknames in return… this is an excellent indication that she is engaged and investing in the conversation as well as enjoying the nicknames you’re giving her.

Nicknames simply put girls in a good mood. Often, she will play along and give you a nickname as well. This is a good sign.

A Final Thought

It’s OK if these strategies (especially the emoticons) feel weird the first time you try them — they are something new. But remember, if you aren’t happy with the results you’re getting now, the only way to change that is to change what you’re doing.

So give it a shot and allow yourself the opportunity to see what happens. What’s the worst that could happen? What’s the *best* that could happen?

The more you talk, the more they like you. This is how to get girls. Sound good? Let’s get down to it…

Our biggest issue with how to talk to a girl is the ‘running out of things to say’ syndrome(tm). You talk for a few minutes, then there is a lull, and you say, “Nice to meet you.” and go on your merry way. We’re gonna sort that in this article.

The second biggest thing guys struggle with when talking to girls is how to talk to women and be interesting, and not bore them. We’re gonna cover that too.

And the final, perhaps most crucial point we’ll cover is how to convey attractive qualities in your conversations. So the more you say, the greater their attraction to you becomes. This is what we want, and generally a good thing. :-)

How to never run out of things to say

This is much easier than you think. Have you ever played that word-association game when you were a kid? One person said something, and you took a word from the sentence they said, and said a new sentence based on it. Well, we can apply exactly the same thing to our conversations with women, I call this the conversational flow, and once you try it, you’ll realise that this simple technique enables you to talk for hours to women (or anyone for that matter).

Here’s an example:
You: I love this song.
Her: Yeah, I like Coldplay
You: That’s cool. I saw them play live last year in Manchester. They were amazing. You ever been to Manchester?
Her: No.
You: <talk about Manchester> …you should travel more often, it’s so much fun going on adventures. <talk about travelling>
…and so on.

As you can see, the basic idea is to take a subject from what was just said, and then talk about that for a while. We started off by talking about the song playing, then Coldplay, then live music, then Manchester, then travelling, and so on. From here you can go into talking about different countries, or different adventures, etc, etc. The possibilities are endless.

This is really similar to how a good comedian will transition between different stories and jokes in a stand up routine. Ever notice how natural the flow of a good comedian is, so much that you don’t even notice when they change subjects? That’s our aim here, a natural conversational flow that goes on, and on, and on… This flow is the secret of how to talk to girls.

How to be interesting

Now that you know how to talk to a woman for hours, let’s make sure that the woman you are speaking to wants to listen to you! It’s no good if you are just blabbering, as she is getting more and more bored by the second. What to say / What to talk about.

Here’s the key. The more emotionally impacful you can make what you talk about, the more engaging it will be.

Talk about how things made you feel. Express your emotions. This will cause her to experience a bit of the same emotional state as you are describing. This rollercoaster of emotions is what will make what you have to say really interesting.

It’s like the best films you can think of: They make you laugh, cry, angry, tense, scared, happy. It’s this rollercoaster of emotions that we humans find so compelling.

Notice next time you are bored by someone. I guarantee it is because they are talking about stuff without any emotional impact. Don’t be that guy.

If you talk to a random girl about travel, talk about the thrill, the excitement, the feeling of doing something for the first time, the adventure. If you are talking about a film, talk about how it was sooo sad, or made you laugh like crazy.

Focus on the emotions as much (or more than) the subject of your conversations, and you will always be interesting.

How to build attraction into conversations

The final piece to the conversational puzzle, is how to convey attractive qualities. This way, the more you talk about, the more the girl you are talking to will be attracted to you.

The big three when it comes to attraction are:
1. Leadership.
2. Protecting your loved ones.
3. Expressing your emotions.

These traits must be implied, not stated directly, or they will have little or no effect. Let her work out that you are a leader, a protector and express your emotions and you will be able to talk about just about anything.

Some examples.

To convey leadership, talk about how you organised a trip or even for your friends. Talk about how you are living towards your vision, your purpose in life. Talk about how you organise others to help you achieve your group’s goals and aspirations.

To convey that you are a protector, talk about a time when you did exacly that. Maybe it was your younger brother getting bullied in the playground and you stood up to them, or maybe you rescued your cat from a mean dog. Both convey that you protect the ones close to you.

Number 3 is pretty much covered by the emotional content of your conversations and stories, as explained above. But you can add extra impact if you talk about something that was really sad for you, like how you recently lost a grandparent, or when you were younger and your pet died and you said goodbye.

I’m sure you can think of things that have happened in your life to talk about, so you don’t have to make any of these stories up. In fact, I advise against it.

If they are real for you, you won’t have to ‘memorise’ them, you can just tell them as you recall them from your life. This is the best, most authentic and honest way to talk about these things.

So there you go, how to talk to girls for hours whilst being interesting and attractive at the same time. Now I’m not saying you’ll have magical powers and know how to talk a girl into the sack, but… Take these three keys of how to talk to beautiful women on board, and your abilities to talk to women will increase like mad, and your interactions will be more successful from now on.

First impressions when approaching a woman are the key to long-term attraction. If you have ever witnessed a bloke approaching a group of women, if you pay attention you will see the womens’ body language and facial expressions will tell you within the first few minutes what they think of him, on a sexual level. Attracted, or repulsed.

Once you master the skill of making an amazing first impression, which I am gonna go into here, you will get your interactions with women off to a flying start. Women will be attracted to you in less time than you thought possible, and will slot you into the ‘attractive’ pigeon hole right off the bat.

Get this crucial part of any interaction wrong however, and you will be slotted into the ‘interesting but unattractive friend’ category, or even worse the ‘creepy dude in the bar’ category, faster than you can say, “Inappropriate boob groping.”

So let’s get into how exactly you go about creating an amazing, attractive first impression.

Try doing all of the following within the first 120 seconds of approaching women:

• Make her laugh (with an observation about her).
• Make fun of her.
• Touch her.
• Challenge her.
• Display indifference.

The order isn’t really that important, just focus on the principles behind each item.

Make Her Laugh

If you can do this with your opening line, great. An example might be, if you are in a bar and a girl brushes past you, you could say (in your best fake Oriental stereotype accent), “Looky looky, but no touchy!” Something like this will get you in there, and get her laughing from the get-go. All good stuff.

Another example, if she doesn’t laugh at your ‘opener’, would be to make a humorous observation about her appearance, or something in particular she is wearing. If she is wearing boots that look like wellies you could say something like, “You look like you just came from working on the farm. What were you doing, mucking out the chickens?” Say this with a gleam in your eye so she knows you are kidding. This is the general idea.

Make Fun of Her

I love doing this, cos I’m a little bit sadistic. Any time she makes a mistake, or does *anything* (no matter how slight) that you could take the piss out of, get all over it like a cheap suit.

She stutters, you say something like, “Alright retard, miss you speech therapy class today?” She stumbles, or drops something, try something like, “Watch out, Godzilla on the rampage.” She can’t remember something, or gets some fact wrong, “Uh oh, senile dementia setting in already.”

The principle is that you should be taking the mick out of her, in a way that makes her laugh at herself cos what you say is so witty and funny.

Practice enough and you’ll get to the stage where you can think these up as they happen, real-time in reaction to things that the girls do in your interactions.

Touch Her

Simple. As soon as you can, touch her.

Be gesturing as you talk and brush her. Tap her on the upper arm subtly when she laughs at something.

This sets you apart as a man confident around women, and is very attractive.

Challenge Her

“I like women that are deep, and have a bit of personality, not just an air head.” This is an example of presenting her with a challenge. By saying what you like, she will usually try and convince you that she meets that criteria. It is human nature.

By doing this you communicate that you are picky, you have options, and you are selective, you have high standards. You demonstrate that you know what you want, and you will go after it in life. All incredibly attractive to women.

Display Indifference

The best way to react to most kinds of emotional response in her, is to be indifferent.

If she gets bitchy cos your funny line was a bit too insulting, don’t react. She has no effect on your emotions. This drives women crazy and propels sexual tension into the stratosphere.

I have had women 100% *pissed off* with me, and I literally turned my back on her to talk to her one other friend that was there. Guess what? 10 Minutes later me and that same girl were on the dancefloor together, and she was doing unrepeatable things right infront of my face. Massive sexual tension.

Or if she threatens to walk away, be like, “Go on then.” This will almost force her to stay put and try to deflate the massive sexual tension bubble you just created. Don’t let her do it. It is a battle of wills, of personalities.

Don’t back down, down’t apologise, don’t give in.

And above all else: don’t give a shit.
